The weather forecast
was very poor for Saturday but we turned up anyway! The Sun shone from 11
O'clock onwards, what a lovely day. Steve White finished his last Beginner's
Lesson and will be shooting with us on a day fee basis until he can find the
time to shoot more frequently, we like our archers to get the best value for
money, this sometimes means shooting on a day fee rather than going for Full
membership.
Ed has earned his spurs and is now a Bona Fide key holding Sherwood Forrester.
He is hoping to encourage a few others to shoot some weekday afternoons.
Brian supervised Ed and Steve on the shooting line. Sandra was writing a sermon
for Sunday week and Malcolm and I worked on the 'dead hedge' behind the archery
hut. I also had time to mark the target field with yellow line paint....hand
now coloured bright yellow!!!
