Sunday the 9th of May
was Sunny yet a little on the cool side especially as it clouded over after
2 O'clock. We had three visitors for a Have-a-go day and a visiting archer
who wanted to take advantage of being able to practice Clout distances. In
all, 10 archers and one spectator.
We decided to put 'Nottingham Castle' out at 30 yards with an Evil Friar Tuck
Double to shoot at behind the walls. In front of the Castle were two Wolves
and a Wolfherd with a Dangerous Vulture lurking nearer the walls....all had
to be despatched post haste....mind you, the shot captured on the Wolfherd
looked pretty painful to me :)
Fun was had by all(except the Wolfherd)!
