Sunday the 14th was a little overcast yet pleasantly warm, the sun shone after an hour or so. We spent the first hour and a half cutting down the sapling wood from the base of three of the large Lime trees around the target field. The field will look rather splendid once the trees are in leaf and there will be excellent field shots under the overhanging branches. After we finished the 'Forrestry' work we had a shoot in the Top Woods Quarry; the photo shows an enticing 40 yard shot and 10 yards or so downhill. No broken arrows now we are using 11/32 ash/birch and 23/64 POC shafting.
