Sunday the 28th of March was a nice sunny day yet seemed very cool! Brian, Ed and I set out the Top Woods for Field Shooting. We were joined later by Pip Bickerstaffe and his wife Jenny, who were wending their way back down South following a trip to Cumbria where Pip had been delivering lectures on Bows and Archery. As he is the Club Coach he spent a few minutes explaining to Ed that he (Ed) would shoot better with a bow in his hand. We then adjourned for Sunday Lunch at the Royal Oak in Barlborough (sadly the Rose and Crown has had to cease trading).
