Field Archery
In Field Archery targets are laid out in fields and woods. They are differing distances and archers move from one target to the next unlike target archery where the archer always stands on the same shooting line. Targets can be 3 dimensional or 2 dimensional. In the Autumn we will be laying out an extensive field shooting course in our lower field, all hands on deck to help clear the undergrowth and prepare the shooting areas. In the meantime we have made a few targets and set them out around our main target field, under trees and in awkward positions to make the shots interesting. In a nutshell field archery is the type of archery you would learn if you had to shoot food for dinner.
