Encore une fois.......(once again) we were asked if we could provide a have-a-go session for French students attending summer school at Mount St Mary's College, at very short notice ( two days!), well, how can we refuse those who have helped us?
We were able to muster three Sherwood Forresters to help at such short notice. We arrived at 2.00 pm to discover the 50 children had become 100! We split the children into smaller groups and finally finished at 5.30pm with all the youngsters having a couple of goes. I reckon some of them managed at least three goes :)
It was hard yet very rewarding work, it gives an archer a good feeling when people enjoy themselves so much with something that seems so simple.

The heavens opened up
on Friday 17th so we setup in the 'Old' Gym at the school....
....good news.....we weren't going to get wet....bad news....it was up 10
flights of stairs!
The children were in two groups of 23 and 35, good fun was had by all. SF
archers in
attendance were Mick Sheldon, Sandra Burgess, Malcolm Cottam, Wes Hollins
and Peter Burgess
