We were invited to attend the Finsbury Marks, Grey Goose Fair, held for the first time since 1348 at Staunton Harold near Lount, Leicestershire.
The morning was the Roving Goose shoot at distances to 200 yards.
The afternoon was the Grey Goose Fair with said rounds from Goose Fair of Nottingham.
For example Friar Tucks Grasp etc. Basically shooting at short distances at Turks Heads, strings holding up purses of monies, shooting the wand etc.
